Image handling
When you inspect an image, it is transmitted to the server over HTTPS. The original is processed using the request's temporary upload file and is not intentionally retained after the request. Images are decoded and re-encoded into a separate cleaned copy, stored in a private server directory. These copies are associated with your account, expire by default after 30 minutes, and can be deleted earlier from your workspace. Automatic physical deletion depends on the server's scheduled cleanup job.
Information we retain
We store account name, email address and hashed password. For operational purposes, we record upload file size, image format, whether detectable metadata was present, processing success and time. We do not intentionally retain original image filenames, GPS coordinates or extracted camera information in database activity records. Temporary session and application logs may contain operational information.
Access and security
Downloads require your authenticated account. Files are saved outside the public document root. Platform administrators can view account information and aggregate operational activity, but the admin interface does not include image previews or extracted location metadata.
Limitations
Cleaning does not remove visual information inside image pixels. JPEG/WebP re-encoding is generally lossy and image rendering may change slightly. Support for reading some metadata, especially within PNG/WebP, depends on server capabilities. We cannot control files that were shared elsewhere before cleaning.
Your choices
You can remove temporary cleaned copies from your workspace at any time. For account or privacy queries, please contact Warke Technologies through its official company website.
